Wow, someone in this DC tourism promotion company has a really tart tongue.
It’s not the tourism bureau, the ad is put out by Destination DC, a private non-prof corporation that the website says is the contracting arm of Events DC. A cached version of Event’s DC webpage shows that the flair for language doesn’t end with this print ad. ”NO ONE LEAVES WASHINGTON DC,” one page says, “WITHOUT WITNESSING HISTORY IN THE MAKING.” Sounds like a fun place to bring the kids!
